I think this painting needs a cat with a machine gun and/or an eight-eyed monster.

been a fan of the way you use color and texture for a while now and these Beautifully subdued color combos going on here are no exception.

Though I would have to agree that it definitely is lacking that fun and warmth that only a psychotic tomato or three-toed blood sucking tree sloth can bring.

Hey Rex! This one is awesome...it looks like a Yogi Bear bg! I think it's great because of what isn't in it--like it's disconcerting because of it's lack of a human presence (when you have your "one man show" at a NY gallery I can write the introduction to the catalog with this kind of drivel!!)

thanks a lot for all the swell comments guyS!

amid & clarke, i'm sure some crazy characters could snazz things up a bit, but sometimes you need to just embrace the beauty of nature, and take a break from all the riff raff.

nick, YES your my press man. you can do all that kind of stuff with intros and everything. your drivel is awesome!

A background! An empty stage. Waiting for something to happen, and cunningly painted for characters to read well on it. Here it is, hire this man for a most cool BG styling. Lovely, Rex, and so are the other drawings and paintings.
